You no longer associate bridges or rivers with water...(this one is for Lydia)
You can say 110 degrees without fainting...
You can make instant sun tea...
You learn that a seat belt makes a pretty good branding iron...
The temperature drops below 90 and you feel a bit chilly...
You discover in July, it only takes two fingers to drive your car...
The above is posted for all my AZ friends and for those of you thinking of moving to AZ!!
I am going to miss this great state. I am so glad that we have had the opportunity to live out in the wild west and see this part of the United States. Stay tuned next week I'll have pictures of Tombstone-The Town To Tough To Die! :)

My daughter just visited her friend who goes to Arizona State a week ago. Of course coming from Oregon she thought it was great...but then I reminded her about the summer heat. She is not used to that!
~Happy Saturday~
That was cute! You are a sweetie.

Ha ha! Don't forget the famous postcards that show a skeleton leaning against a cactus with the caption, "It's dry heat!" ;) I loved to watch the 'herds' of deer bounding down the mountain every night, cutting through the yards on their way to the big field. And who wouldn't savor the memory of holding a hummingbird in the palm of her hand at sunrise, then following a roadrunner down the sidewalk on the way home? Arizona is a crazy cool place.
And, don't forget the coyotes running around at all hours! We are going to miss you too!
I miss the sun AND my friends!!!!
