Our Temporary Home

We haved moved into a small cottage named the Utah House.  It was built in 1933 and was the last set of quarters to be built on Fort Huachuca during its initial construction period.  It is a cute little 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath home.  It is no longer quarters but belongs to MWR(Morale, Welfare, Rec) which manages the lodging(hotel) here on post.  When we first came to Fort Huachuca 3 years ago we lived in the Utah House for 3 months while our quarters were being renovated.  Now as we depart Fort Huachuca we get to call the Utah House home for 7 more days.

There is also another lodger in the Utah House.  I think this one is here long term though...

I will try my best to get a picture of this cat when he or she slips out.  This is an amazing looking cat, just beautiful and isn't too afraid of us.  I'd love to take it to Georgia with us. : )

That is all for today folks.  Gotta get ready and head back over to our house for what I hope is the final day of packing!

Hope to see you soon. Don't even think about taking that cat, he belongs to the Utah house! Besides, would there be room in the trailer?
