A Beautiful show of Red

Our quarters here on Fort Huachuca are three houses away from the main flag pole on the parade field. At least for the next 5 days!  On special days such as Memorial Day an extra large flag is flown on the flag pole.  Yesterday the flag was beautiful!  I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures as much as I enjoyed watching this majestic flag fly in the wind.

I had a little helper with me while taking these pictures.  He sure was hot when we returned home, 15 minutes later. : )
Thanks Oliver, mommy loves you!

I'm linking this post to Rednesday at Sue's Blog, It's A Very Cherry World.

Sorry - automation gone wrong, I was trying to paste in my email and it apparently pasted in my last comment which was for another site. Sorry. What it was SUPPOSED to say is that your photos are lovely! :) I especially loved the middle two blowing bravely in the breeze.

Bless little Oliver's heart - he looks ready to be home and curl up in his favorite spot. He did a good job helping take pictures. Beautiful flag against the clear, blue sky.
