Comments about tutorial post

I am so sorry that the below post looks so bad. I have just spent over 3 hours trying to get the words and the pictures lined up. But if one looks at the pictures carefully I believe you can still understand the steps that I spent so much time working on tonight. When I look at it in the "preview" section of the post all looks well but when I hit "publish" it all goes to pot! I am not sure what is happening. This posting business is very complicated and frustrating to me. I know that there has to be an easier way or so many people wouldn't have blogs. If anyone out there can lend me some advice I would certainly appreciate it. I am exhausted and am now going to bed.
