What I've been up to...

Because of this...

happening in my kitchen, my dining room now looks like this...

and my family room fireplace area looks like this....

Please note that the mantle is "sort of " decorated for fall.  Do I get credit???

Hopefully this little project in the kitchen will be complete by next weekend and I can have the BIG reveal!

I think I should get some credit for fall decorating....

my front door wreath.

This next week is going to be a busy, busy one.  My parents are moving and their big estate sale is Friday and Saturday.  I might not get in much blogging time but I'll be back soon.

Y'all come back real soon for my BIG kitchen reveal.

Fondly,
Ann

Oh! How exciting...love the wainscotting. I think you deserve lots of credit for doing any Halloween decorating at all in the middle of such a project. The wreath is lovely.(-:

Hi! I so relate to the rest of the house falling apart while you finish a project! I can't wait to see how it turns out and I know it will inspire me to get moving on some of my own unfinished spaces!

Yes, the mantle looks beautiful and I you have a lot of Longaberger baskets :) Oh, how well I know the chaos that comes with the projects. If only there was a tidy fairy that took care of all the project mess.

Hi Ann- Just got back from my trip, so I'm catching up on mail and comments. Thanks so much for stopping by from last week's party. Glad you like my antler flatware. I thought it was fun. You've got some project going on your end! It's true that to make one room beautiful, you have to mess up a few others! My house is often in chaos, what with decorating projects for me or for clients. No one can possibly live in a show house, can they?
LOL -I take pics of the "good stuff" after I've shoved the mess off to the side!
Hope you'll stop by again for another visit sometime. :-)
