Some Days...

Most days since I we have moved back home I have felt just like this...

a bright full of life Magnolia blossom!

BUT,BUT,BUT lately I have felt like this...

a withering and tattered Magnolia blossom!!

Busy, busy week her gals!  Life just does not slow down.

Fondly,
Ann

PS Magnolia blossom was cut from a wonderful tree in my backyard.  One of the selling points of this house, I know crazy!

I hope you perk up Ann. If it's any consolation, I freakin' love your blog! You have amazing taste and I could get lost in the pictures of your gorgeous home.
Have a great day. It's almost Friday...

Kim

Hi,

It sounds as if you need a little R&R. You have really been awfully busy and accomplished so much. I love magnolias...they grow well here too, and their fragrance is amazing! I think it is a great reason to buy a house.(-: Take care.

Hopefully, after this weekend and all of it's activities, you will be able to take a short break. I know, that never happens with you. Sit on your back patio and enjoy your surroundings a bit. Hope the sale goes well and the move for your parents is going okay.
Bring some more magnolias into your house, they are beautiful.

I think "Maggie" is quite beautiful all creamy and open-faced expressive like that. I think she is looking around your house and wishing you had brought her in sooner for a nice lonnnng visit. :) xoxo

Hi Ann,
Do you need some shopping therapy? Oh, dear... this doesn't sound like you at all.

I love the magnolia tree. My blessed dad of memory would grow them from the seeds. He could grow anything, my dad. When my elementary school built a new library, he planted trees in the courtyard there... almost 50 years ago! OH, am I that old??? Moving on....

I spotted your lovely oak buffet in a previous post of yours. Before you moved I saw it in one of your postings and had not see it since. I have one that is quite similar, you know. Here it is on this post:

The fragrance of the magnolia is wonderful, isn't it? And the leaves/branches are wonderful for decorating.

Take some time for yourself today... steal away for just a while.
