While everyone else is posting such lovely vignettes and wonderful table settings I thought I would jump right in and show ya'll a few snap shots of what my home looks like right now. Yep, we are in the throws of moving. When I asked for help with this overwhelming task this is the response I got....
Are you kidding me?? Woman, you know that I am Chinese royalty! Bred to guard the royal temples and palaces not to help you clean up and pack this place.
I can not even look at you after such a request!
So then I asked our other Shih-tzu. Oliver is kinder and not quite as stuck on himself. I knew he would jump right up and help me....
Aww...shucks mom. You know I'd help you cause I love you so much but right now I'm taking a nap with Mr. Froggy. Maybe later.
Well, I guess I'll keep trudging through this awlful task. But I do know that eventually "everything is gonna be alright."
Fondly,
Ann

I have the same breed of dog and I get the same answers! All I hear from my Mr. Bo Jangles is...throw my toy..will throw my toy now! LOL
I don't know if you are moving out or in..but good luck with every thing! I just washed all my windows in/out today and I am so tired! Come say hi :D
When I started with the first pictures I thought, what seems to be the problem? Looks natural to me. :) Then I read you were moving. The first picture of your dog is priceless! I wish I was a dog person, but I actually don't want a pet. Don't get me wrong, I love animals, I just don't have the patience for them. Your little dogs are so cute. Hope your sons help you move.
First off, you HAVE made beautiful vignettes..moving vignettes girl!
I just LOVED the pic and the captions about the dogs. The first two pics fit perfect with what you wrote. It did seem like they were saying what you wrote, LOL 'you kidding me?" lol
Oh nightmare... but just think, THIS time it might be for good! :) Lucky duck. xoxo
Hi Ann, your dogs are so cute and they certainly know their jobs! OH MY! I have an oak Victorian buffet that is very similar to yours! Don't forget to wave when you drive by. ;-)

Oh Ann, I so feel for you. We have moved so many times I can't even remember how many. Each time in these later years, we would say this is the last time. Our last was almost 4 years ago and we still have a storage building full of stuff. We just don't know what to do with it. Those dogs are movie star material. Have a good weekend and try to get a little rest.
Hang in there, Ann. It won't be too long and you'll be settled and back to blogging about your favorite things!
Just be sure to take some parting shots! I love seeing the upheaval that is part of moving as often as military families do. You think it will never happen and then the movers and packers come in and it is just boxes everywhere! Stay calm and all will be okay.
precious pics of the men, soon they will have a new house & yard to get used to, if they can survive the drive across the country.
Donna, by the way.
P.S. Chu looks like he has put on some weight.
Oh, I don't envy you! Good luck with the move!
Best Wishes to you as you make this new move ! The dogs are so sweet & cute ! And they can talk, too. lol
Blessings & Hugs,
~Myrna
Look's like there is a lot. I get the same look from the girls when I ask for help. LOL. I hope you will enjoy your new home. Thanks for stopping by today. Julian
